Charlotte is hosting the President’s Cup Golf Tournament in 2022 at Quail Hollow Country Club. The event dates are September 19 – 22, 2022.
I love golf. We watch it in my house every week.
I didn’t know about this mural though until I was uptown photographing this 12 year old chocolate lab named Diesel.
Diesel lives uptown with his dad so that’s where he wanted to have the photo shoot. We were meeting at The Green. I got there a little early and was walking around and imagine my surprise and delight when I stumbled across this amazing work of art.
There is a lot more to the mural… around the corner from this amazing painting of the Charlotte skyline are gigantic murals of Davis Love III and Trevor Immelman the two team captains. So there actually is a “golf” theme…. LOL. I didn’t photograph them with Diesel. I was too mesmerized by this wall.
I suspect this will be one of Charlotte’s most instagrammable locations very soon. It might rival the #confettiheartswall.
