Sutton Stracke reacted to claims of Ozempic use and being too thin after Jeff Lewis, 53, shared a photo of her on his Instagram page in late August.
As the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 51, visited Jeff on his SiriusXM radio show on August 25, she was met with weight concerns from her fans and followers who took note of her super skinny legs as she showed them off in a white romper, plaid jacket, and tan tennis shoes.
While Jeff’s photo has since been deleted, presumably due to the backlash and critical statements regarding Sutton’s weight, Monsters and Critics shared a series of screenshots on Instagram.
“Sutton Stracke joined Jeff Lewis for his live show and snapped this pic with him, but fans couldn’t help comment on the RHOBH’s slim figure. Sutton sure had something to say in response though,” they wrote in the caption of their August 26 post.
Following the sharing of Jeff’s original post, via Heavy, a bevy of commenters voiced their opinions.
“Whoa! Are we worried about this weight situation?” one person asked.
“I am shocked that this is Sutton from the housewives. She is terribly thin! What is going on with all these celebs going back to skin/bones?” another person wondered.
“She looks really unhealthy,” noted a third.
And someone else added, “Wow Sutton! She does not look well. Far [too] thin. Wow! She’s always been thin but this is just too much.”
Amid the drama, Sutton spoke out in a comment of her own, denying she is on Ozempic and insisting that she “[does] eat.”
“So fun. Thanks for having me! No Covid, not on Ozempic, I do eat!” she wrote, as seen on Monster and Critics‘ post. “Jeff, you’re always a blast and I couldn’t love [Doug Budin] more (see you in the store on Monday).”
After Sutton spoke out and her comment was reshared, one person still felt worried.
“Ooh I’m concerned too. Way way too thin,” they noted.
But another person pointed out, “She’s always has super bony legs so I don’t think she looks any different really.”
As RHOBH fans may have heard, Sutton recently commented on claims her co-star Erika Jayne, 52, made on Watch What Happens Live in regard to her own weight loss, which she said happened “hormonally” as she went “through menopause.”
“I was going through menopause so I took it all down. I went to the doctor. I said, ‘Get it off,’” Erika explained.
But as Sutton joked that she needs to “do whatever [Erika]’s doing,” Sutton also suggested she didn’t believe Erika’s claims.
“I’ve been through the menopause, but I still don’t look like that, but OK,” she sarcastically told Us Weekly.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime this fall.
