The Rapper Is Ready To “Do It Fully” & “F**k The Game Up” Solo

The “Clout” rapper’s commentary came during a recent sit-down with Variety.

Starting with his artistry, Offset declared he’s “going full-fledged into [his] solo career.” Additionally, he confidently proclaimed, “It’s my time.”

“The objective is to do it fully and smash s**t and f**k the game up as a solo artist. I’m coming through, bustin’ through the door. It’s all set, my next chapter. It’s my time.”

Offset noted that patience is vital in his journey from being in Migos to focusing on his solo prospects. After all, success is a marathon and not a race.

“Sometimes you gotta sit back and not rush. I really wanted to drop the album like two years ago, but it wasn’t time.”

Regarding this development, he stated, “I had to master who I was, and I got it now.”

In a statement to the publication, a Capitol Music Group spokesperson discussed how Offset has a “phenomenal” album on the way.

“Offset has made a phenomenal album; we can’t wait until the world hears his masterpiece.”

The spokesperson noted, “We’re deep into release planning now and will soon have big news to share!” While the specifics are still being worked out, the project is reportedly slated to drop this summer.

We should also add that Quavo also freshly announced a project called “Rocket Power,” which will come soon.

Offset Gets Emotional While Discussing Life Without Takeoff: “I Don’t Say Nothing To Nobody About It”

Segueing from his artistry to a heavier topic, Offset also bared all and discussed how he’s coping with Takeoff’s passing. Specifically, he acknowledged the difficulty that comes with opening up.

“It’s hard for me to talk about s**t right now. I’ve never talked about this stuff. Seriously. Talking about Take is hard, man.”

He continued speaking on this hurt before revealing that the situation almost “feels fake.”

“Talking about all this s**t is hard. That’s why I don’t, to be honest. That s**t hurts. Like, it’s gonna put me in a mood, and I don’t want to get in that mood. Some things I don’t never tell nobody. He’s not here. That s**t feels fake, bro.”

Before wrapping up, Offset declared, “I get through my day thinking it’s fake. And I don’t say nothing to nobody about it.”
