Obama Grand Center brings A-list performances from JHud, Xtina, JLegend and more

The grand opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago on June 18, 2026, featured a star-studded lineup of performances and a high-profile audience of celebrities from Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Bono & The Edge (U2), Christina Aguilera, Eddie Vedder, Marc Anthony, and The Roots.

-Chicago-native Jennifer Hudson sang the national anthem “The Star-Spangled Banner” and “The Impossible Dream” at the Obama Center grand opening.
