Selling Sunset“‘s season six cast includes returning members Stause, Lazkani, Rae El Moussa, Jason and Brett Oppenheim, Emma Hernan, Mary Fitzgerald (and Romain Bonnet), Amanza Smith, and Davina Potratz. The season will also welcome some newcomers to the cast — Tiesi and longtime Oppenheim Group employee Nicole Young — while one veteran member has left the real estate franchise for good.

Despite Us Weekly‘s May 2022 report of Quinn saying she’ll “absolutely” return to the show this season, Variety confirmed on Aug. 17, 2022, that she’s exited the reality series, permanently. The news came after a source told Us Weekly in April 2022 that Quinn had parted ways with The Oppenheim Group. “It was Christine’s decision to leave the Oppenheim Group,” the source confirmed. Quinn’s former boss Jason also addressed her status at his company during the “Selling Sunset” season five reunion that aired in May 2022 (which she wasn’t present for), where he said, “Right now, there’s not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group.”

Quinn addressed her exit from the show that same month in an interview with People a month after she launched a crypto real estate venture, RealOpen, with her husband, Christian Dumontet. “I terminated my contract when the brokerage launched,” she told the outlet. “I had to make a business decision that was for me, so I had to terminate the contract so I could move it over to my brokerage.”

Meanwhile, on Aug. 4, 2022, People reported on Tiesi’s “Selling Sunset” casting news, confirming she’s been tapped for both seasons six and seven. Tiesi, a model who was looking to start up a long-term career when she made the switch to real estate, gave birth to her son, Legendary — whom she shares with Nick Cannon — in July 2022. Will Legendary and Cannon make any appearances on the reality show along with Tiesi? “I’m not going to necessarily hide [Legendary] from anything,” Tiesi told People at the time about the possibility. “It is what it is between his dad and I. He’s still obviously so little, so I will protect him from the majority of it for a little while.”

Additionally, Young, who’s been an Oppenheim Group agent for more than a decade, finally joins the show’s cast this season. She previously explained to People why viewers haven’t seen her in prior seasons, despite her history with the firm. “Originally, I was a part of the main cast,” she said. “Honestly, at the time, I just got cold feet right before they were going to start filming. I just wasn’t ready to expose my entire life, and even more so, my clients and business — which I’m very protective of — to the entire world.”
