“One of the main questions I get from people who don’t act or like in interviews, people ask me like, ‘oh my god was it really fun growing up? Growing up a set like that, that must be so cool to grow up around all those people’,” she said to her 1.7 million followers on the platform.

“The thing is, that I think people don’t realise, was I was working and if I wasn’t working on the set then I had to do three hours of studio school a day. So I had no time to rest except lunch, like you know what I mean.”

She added that “there are moments that were fun for sure… but you know it is work and I think we do have to keep that in mind.”

And while she said studio school wasn’t all that bad when she was studying alongside co-stars Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter, and Rico Rodriguez, Anderson-Emmons explained that they were all a lot older than her and graduated when she was around 10-years-old.

“I was doing school with nobody but the set teacher,” she said. “Which is nice because you get more one-on-one time but you’re also not having social interactions with other kids.”
