Lorelei Bates experienced a devastating rejection on “Farmer Wants A Wife.” The 26-year-old made it all the way to the final two, but Farmer David’s decision left Lorelei so stunned that she actually fainted on national television.
Following the finale episode last Sunday, Lorelei opened up about the emotional aftermath, revealing that the past few days have been filled with tears.
“He broke the news that it wasn’t me and I fainted. At that moment, I don’t even remember collapsing. I don’t remember anything I said after that – and from that moment we were pulled apart. I have had no contact with David,” she told Mamamia.
Lorelei expressed her disappointment that David didn’t reach out to check on her well-being, as she had expected him to be the type of person to do so. The lack of closure and communication left her feeling even more shattered.
“I really wish that he had reached out just to even check in to make sure that I was okay. I just thought he was kind of the guy to do that,” she added.

Lorelei Admits She Is “Very Heartbroken”
In the months leading up to the episode airing, Lorelei grappled with intense anxiety about how it would be received. Overwhelmed by her heartbreak, she withdrew from everyone and sought solace in spending time with her brother and his friends, seeking comfort in their company.
“I didn’t want to talk to anybody, I was very heartbroken,” she admitted.
Since the incident, Lorelei has had no closure. She was swiftly escorted to the car and driven away, never to see or hear from David again. Despite being a “tough time” for the 26-year-old, Lorelei acknowledged David’s perspective.
“I see it from his point of view, reaching out to the person that could have been the one, in front of her [Emily]. Like, how would that make her feel as well?” she said.
