Radio personality Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has shared details about her fertility journey, sharing that she still pays to keep her remaining embryos frozen.
Speaking on The Kyle & Jackie O Show, Henderson said she still has “a lot of those embryos” that she created with ex-husband Lee Henderson.
“I don’t know what to do, I’m still paying rent every month still,” she told co-host Kyle Sandilands. Later clarifying it was a “minimal” amount of rent each month.

“Why am I doing that? Why?” she said.
Sandilands responded that she should “give some away”.
“I don’t know what to do with them,” the 48-year-old admitted.
She added: “It just feels so final to go, yeah, destroy them.”
Henderson went through the IVF process to welcome her child Catalina, ‘Kitty’, in 2010.
The long-time radio host currently co-parents with Kitty’s father and her ex-husband Lee, whom she split from in 2018.

The Besties co-founder has always been generously open with the struggles with IVF. In 2014, she coached a listener going through the process and gave advice about what to expect.
“You are about to become the b—h from hell and you won’t even know it. And you will think your behaviour is completely normal,” she reportedly said.
“Those hormones mess with your moods.”

Henderson also spoke to 9Honey this year about Besties co-founder spoke to 9Honey this year about the challenges she’s facing as a mum of a teenager.
“Year 9 is apparently the year for everything going belly-up for your daughters,” Henderson told 9Honey Parenting.
“I know some friends who have had girls who had gone through Year 9 – they are now in their twenties – but the principal will even warn the parents that this is the year where life will probably be hell, and I remember that.”
