Cullen and Dykman, a law firm with offices in Uniondale, has formed a private equity and venture capital practice.

The firm appointed a dedicated team to enhance its ability to serve clients “across all stages of their fund journey,” according to a news release announcing the recently formed practice.

Led by partners Jeffrey Herz and Joseph Spina, both of whom are partners in the firms corporate group. The new practice is designed to serve a broad range of clients. They include middle-market and lower-middle-market private equity firms, growth equity funds, venture capital groups, independent fund sponsors and other private investors.

“We at Cullen and Dykman LLP stand committed to our clients’ success,” Christopher Palmer, the firm’s managing partner said in a written statement.

“With a dedicated team and a wealth of expertise across multiple disciplines, we are primed to deliver tailored solutions for our firm’s private equity and venture capital clients,” Palmer added.

The practice offers support to both sponsors and their portfolio companies in key areas such as mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, tax, labor and employment, management incentive plans, business reorganization, real estate, litigation support, intellectual property rights and regulatory compliance.

The firm has more than 180 attorneys in seven offices, which are located throughout the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions.
