CLEVELAND (WJW) – The FOX 8 I-TEAM is following new developments surrounding the City of Brook Park asking for state money for road projects around the site for a dome for the Cleveland Browns.
The City and an executive for the Browns are going before a committee for the Ohio Department of Transportation hoping to get approval of $70 million for road projects to handle traffic around the dome site and Hopkins Airport.
And, as part of the presentation, the Browns also revealed a new 3-D rendering of what the dome complex would look like with some of the new traffic projects around it.
The Browns hope to move into a dome for the start of the 2029 season.
The City of Cleveland is fighting the Browns in court to try to keep the team playing in the current stadium on the lakefront.
