Samantha Prabhu is one of the lovely actresses from the South Film industry who enjoys massive popularity in Bollywood as well. One of her most ambitious films yet – Shaakuntalam (Telugu) announced its release date today.
The film is all set to release on February 17 this year. Earlier it was slated to release on November 22, 2022. However, to make it a better experience for the viewers in 3D format, the release date was pushed.
Samantha took to social media as she shared the news, captioning her post, “Witness the #EpicLoveStory #Shaakuntalam in theatres from Feb 17th, 2023 Worldwide! Also in 3D.” The film is based on Abhijnana Shakuntalam – Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play and is being helmed by Gunasekhar.
