CLEVELAND (WJW) — The Cleveland Museum of Art is giving those who haven’t had a chance to see its popular summer exhibition the gift of a little more time.
“Takashi Murakami: Stepping on the Tail of a Rainbow,” which opened in late May, is going to be open until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, to Friday, Sept. 5 (which is also the MIX: 90s Homecoming event), and also on the exhibition’s final day, Sunday, Sept. 7 (also the Cleveland Browns’ season opener).
While all other areas of the museum are closing at their usual times, the exhibition is located in the museum’s lower level and part of the main atrium.
The exhibition from the well-known Japanese contemporary artist features more than 100 works. Take a look at some below:
CMA — know for its tagline of “for the benefit of all the people forever” — is free to enter, but special exhibitions such as this one do cost money.
