Gizelle Bryant addressed the reported firing of her best friend Robyn Dixon’s husband Juan – who was previously the head coach of Coppin State – as well as the rumor that Robyn herself is getting fired from Real Housewives of Potomac.

Robyn recently faced heat after hiding Juan’s inappropriate communication with another woman. The mother of two claimed he paid for the woman’s hotel room simply because she lost her wallet. As of now, it’s unclear whether the scandal led to Juan’s departure from the university.

Speaking to @rickycornish, Gizelle addressed Juan’s reported firing.

Gizelle expressed that the “coaching world is tough,” and Juan was in a “tough position” as his team had a “losing season.” She also expressed her belief that many universities look at coaches as if they’re “as good” as their “last season.”

“Juan, if anything I know about him, he’ll bounce back and he’ll be fine,” added Gizelle.

In an interview with The Sun, Gizelle also addressed the rumor that Robyn herself will be fired from the franchise after hiding her drama with Juan.

“Robyn is here! Who is making up these rumors? I don’t understand,” said Gizelle. “At this point, Robyn has so much going on in her life. I think y’all will want to see that.”

The star further addressed Juan’s departure from Coppin State. “You know, the basketball industry is very fickle and it’s a very ‘right now’ type of industry. Like, if you’re not winning now, then they’re probably gonna get rid of you,” she said. “But Juan has been coaching for a while. I’m sure he’ll land on his feet.”

On the recent RHOP reunion, Robyn denied that her husband actually cheated. “There was no affair. He communicated with her — which he shouldn’t have — and that was it,” said Robyn. “There was no relationship, no affair, no dating, and nothing physical.”

Speaking with The Sun, Gizelle revealed where Robyn and Juan currently stand.

“Oh, they’re great. They’re really doing good,” said the OG castmate. “Robyn is tough and she has dealt with a lot. And [they] have been together since they were in high school, so yeah, they are fine and they have gotten through it.”

Gizelle addressed her own romance with Winter House star Jason Cameron and if they have a “label” for their relationship.

“We have not had that conversation,” she said, denying there was a label. “We try to see each other as often as we can. You know, we’ll go back and forth [visiting]. Jason has been like a breath of fresh air in my life and we have so much fun together and he’s a great guy. So we’ll see – one day at a time.”

According to Gizelle, Jason will film for Winter House season three, which now is in production.

“No…I’m good,” Gizelle quipped when asked if she’ll make a surprise cameo. “The only time I’ve seen [the show] is a clip and the house is trashed and it doesn’t seem very sanitary to me, so no thank you.”

Gizelle teased the upcoming season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, where she experienced drama with Heather Gay and Candiace Dillard Bassett.

“Candiace brought the drama. Like, we were done in Potomac. We had hashed everything out. We were in a great place and a good place. We weren’t great, but we were good,” shared Gizelle. “So there was no reason to bring all of that all the way to Thailand, but, yeah that’s what she decided to do.”

The star said she’s “holding onto” her previous statement that Candiace’s husband Chris Bassett made her “uncomfortable” after a former reunion.

“It wasn’t an accusation. It was reality,” said Gizelle. “It doesn’t even really matter to me anymore. I mean, it is what it is.”
