The Matildas and the Lionesses are set to battle it out in the semi-final as part of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Wednesday.

And ahead of the highly-anticipated clash between Australia and England, UK-born TikTok star and former footballer Olantekkers has revealed who he will be supporting in the match.

Olantekkers, whose real name is Daniel Olaniran, admitted that he’s ”torn” about whose side he will be on as, though he has lived in Australia for three years, he is British.

“I think quite a few people would be going through something similar. I’m torn between both!” he tells 9Honey Celebrity.

“I was surprised at how big sport is in Australia,” Olaniran says.

“Whenever it comes to sport in Australia, people value my opinion on it and one day maybe I can be on a TV show.”

A week ago, he shared a reel on Instagram telling Matildas fans to ”dare to dream” in bringing home the World Cup.

“This Matilda’s squad is serious. If you’ve not hopped on the Matildas bandwagon it’s not too late, cause I’ve been on it and you should hop on it as well man, it’s serious!”
