Donald Trump says he will not drop out of the 2024 presidential race even if he is found guilty in the Stormy Daniels “hush money” case.

On Tuesday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson asked Trump if the felony charges would ever cause him to give up on a second term.

“No, I’d never drop out,” he said. “It’s not my thing. I wouldn’t do it.”

If Trump, 76, is, in fact, found guilty of the plethora of felony charges he faces in New York; he could still run for president.

According to legal experts interviewed by Business Insider, If Trump was found guilty, nothing in the Constitution could stop him from continuing his reelection bid.

Last Tuesday, Trump entered a not-guilty plea to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection to an alleged payment sent to Daniels before the 2016 election regarding an alleged extramarital relationship between the two.
