LEE COUNTY, Fla.– A Fort Myers man was arrested for allegedly aiming an air-soft pistol on a date when he thought the woman took pictures of his belongings.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the victim said she met Briton Bochenski on a social media site. The two talked for about two days before they went on a date at Cheddars restaurant on Jan. 2.

The woman told deputies that she was invited to Bochenski’s home in Fort Myers and followed him to his bedroom.

After engaging in consensual activity, the woman was tired and went to the living room to watch TV and eat leftovers, LCSO said.

The woman told police that just as she got comfortable and the TV began to play, Bochenski came out from the bedroom.

He asked the woman if she’d like to see his watch collection, she told LCSO. After the affairs in the bedroom, what did she have to lose?

Bochenski came back with a glass box filled with watches. The woman told LCSO that she pulled out her phone to use as a flashlight to see the watches, because it was dark.

LCSO reports say the woman said Bochenski got upset, saying, “Don’t take pictures of my ****.” The woman said she tried to explain she used her phone as a flashlight, not to take photos.

She told LCSO that Bochenski stormed into his bedroom and came back with a gun. According to the report, he began to wave it at her and said “If you want to take a picture of something, take a picture of this.”

She rushed to get her clothes on to leave the home. She told LCSO Bochenski continued to argue that she took photos of his belongings, so she grabbed her iPhone and purse to drive to the closest location to call 911.

LCSO searched Bochenski’s home, and a detective found items including the case of watches, leftovers from Cheddars, and a gun under the mattress in the master bedroom.

Bochenski was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
