A neo-noir anime classic is celebrating its 25th anniversary. With that, fans of Cowboy Bebop can now avail of a special home video release of the series. The Cowboy Bebop 25th Anniversary Blu-ray box set is coming in April 2023. Crunchyroll is now accepting pre-orders.

“The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck. This motley lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Spike is a hero whose cool façade hides a dark and deadly past. The pilot Jet is a bruiser of a brute who can’t wait to collect the next bounty. Faye Valentine is a femme fatale prone to breaking hearts and separating fools from their money. Along for the ride are the brilliant, but weird, hacker Ed and a super-genius Welsh Corgi named Ein.” the synopsis from Crunchyroll states.

The Cowboy Bebop – The Complete Series 25th Anniversary Blu-ray release date is April 4, 2023. The series will be available to watch in English and Japanese audio with English subtitles. It includes Episodes 1 to 26 and will be available in limited and standard editions. Here are the special features for both editions:

Cowboy Bebop is an anime series created by Hajime Yatate. Hajime Yatate refers to a group of people from the animation studio Sunrise, now known as Bandai Namco Filmworks. The anime premiered in 1999 and ran for 26 episodes.
