CLEVELAND (WJW) — A man who conspired to sell fentanyl, methamphetamine and cocaine in Cleveland is headed to prison.

A federal judge recently sentenced Murray Foster, 39, of Cleveland, to 10 years in prison on the charges, to which he pleaded guilty in April, according to a Thursday news release from David Toepfer, U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio.

Foster will also be supervised for four years upon release.

Between April 1, 2023, and July 12, 2023, Foster and another person conspired to distribute at least 100 grams of a fentanyl analogue, at least 400 grams of a fentanyl mixture, at least 500 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine and at least 500 grams of a crack cocaine mixture, according to the release.

Federal agents executing a search warrant at several homes connected to the conspiracy found more than 500 fentanyl pills, 5 pounds of methamphetamine, 1 kilogram of cocaine, 28 grams of crack cocaine, five handguns, a rifle, a shotgun, more than $19,000 in cash and a motorcycle, according to the release.

Foster’s co-conspirator Deion Thompson, 29, of Cleveland, pleaded guilty in July to having a role in the conspiracy and is due for sentencing on Jan. 5, 2026.
