Chance The Rapper’s wife, Kirsten Corley Bennett, is setting the record straight after her husband’s Twitter account liked & unliked a sexually explicit tweet on Thursday. Kirsten hopped on Instagram and said that people are “reaching.”

“Y’all really be reaching. And he’s (Chance) never going to address this, but all I have to say is, we were literally at an event all night the night before last, until late. We were celebrating. So, sometimes shit happens on accident. So, all you little trolls that are coming to my page that are getting blocked, y’all can go to hell,” she explained.

Fans React To Chance The Rapper Liking Explicit Tweet

As we previously reported, the tweet in question was from a trans pornography account. In March, the account asked its followers to choose between three types of trans content: “dating,” “adult games,” and “webcam,” all of which were accompanied by a hyperlink. Chance liked the tweet but unliked it. Many people reacted to the incident, which had his name trending.

Although Kirsten cleared the air, some felt that she made things worse. One Roommate commented, “As a real n***ga, I wouldn’t let my wife address this for me. I would just have to keep quiet and hold that L.” Another wrote, “How tf is a trans porn page on your Twitter timeline anyways if you not following it or searching it in your search bar? It wasn’t a damn accident. Hold yo husband down though, queen.”

Roommates, do you think Kirsten should have spoken out in her husband’s defense?
