Ateneo BOx Presents LoveBOx 2026: Earthbound echoes

This Valentine’s season, let love stay rooted in the land we call home with LoveBOx 2026:
Earthbound Echoes
, a moving musical celebration that intertwines artistry, environmental
advocacy, and collective action. Organized by the Ateneo Biological Organization, this annual
concert-for-a-cause continues its mission to champion environmental stewardship, with this
year’s proceeds dedicated to Save Sierra Madre Network Alliance, Inc. (SSMNAI), an advocacy
NGO committed to conserving and protecting the Sierra Madre mountain range.

Set against a backdrop of powerful performances by local artists such as Adie, Calein, Arthur
Miguel, shirebound, The Nomads, and talented Ateneans, LoveBOx 2026: Earthbound Echoes
offers an evening that celebrates love in all its forms–love for music, love for our communities,
and love for the Sierra Madre. Concertgoers will enjoy an unforgettable night of music while
helping sustain grassroots efforts to protect forests, biodiversity, and the Indigenous and local
communities that depend on the Sierra Madre’s ecosystems.

Beyond the concert, the LoveBOx experience continues at the LoveBOx Bazaar, a three-day
event from February 16, 18, and 19 featuring educational talks from advocacy partners,
exclusive merchandise, and on-site ticket sales. The bazaar serves as a gathering space for
students, organizations, and advocates to deepen their understanding of environmental justice,
climate resilience, and community-led conservation, while exploring ways to support Sierra
Madre and other threatened landscapes. This year, LoveBOx also highlights the work of
advocacy partners Animal Empathy Philippines, Rights of Nature Philippines, and Angat
Kalikasan Philippines, who collectively advance animal welfare, environmental rights, and
climate action across the country.

Save Sierra Madre Network Alliance, Inc., this year’s chosen beneficiary, is a non-governmental
organization that brings together Indigenous Peoples, people’s organizations, civil society
groups, churches, schools, and individuals to protect and preserve the Sierra Madre and its
watershed. Through advocacy, education, and community-based initiatives, SSMNAI works to
maintain the balance of nature, strengthen the commitment of local communities to
environmental protection, and safeguard the ecological services that the Sierra Madre provides
to Luzon and future generations. By participating in LoveBOx 2026, attendees become part of a
broader movement to defend this critical mountain range and support those on the frontlines of
environmental protection.

Mark your calendars this February 20 at the Ateneo de Manila University Bellarmine Field and
experience LoveBOx 2026: Earthbound Echoes, where music meets advocacy and love takes
the form of concrete action for the environment. Together, let us celebrate the season of love
while standing in solidarity with the communities of Sierra Madre and working toward a more
just, resilient, and life-giving future for our planet.

Tickets cost PHP400 for Atenean scholars, PHP430 for regular Atenean students, and PHP450 for
