Andy Cohen reacted to Ramona Singer‘s departure from The Real Housewives of New York City on a recent episode of his radio show.

Days after Ramona confirmed she would not be a part of the franchise’s upcoming RHONY: Legacy spinoff, which is expected to include Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Dorinda Medley, Luann de Lesseps, and Sonja Morgan, Andy said that while many saw her exit coming, not everyone was happy about it.

“We didn’t talk about Ramona, who announced she is not coming back to RHONY: Legacy… I think that was kinda, I think people saw that coming,” Andy began on SiriusXM Radio’s Andy Cohen Live.

“It’s interesting,” he continued, “one of those hilarious things of the internet, which is, every time it was mentioned, it was, ‘Please, no Ramona.’ You go on Twitter, ‘Get rid of Ramona!’ ‘No Ramona.’ The second Ramona announces she’s leaving, ‘No, Ramona’s a legend!’ It’s so funny.”

Although Ramona was certainly controversial at times, Andy told listeners that the RHONY OG gave Bravo “incredible years of television.”

Andy then recalled a recent conversation he had with her, teasing that the two of them were unable to reach an agreement on her potential role on RHONY: Legacy due to something that was going on in Ramona’s life.

“I had a great conversation with her about this a few weeks ago and she was, I think she’s very bullish on what she has going on in her life right now,” he explained. “I will say, let me say that. I’m going to leave it there.”

In a statement to Page Six last week, Ramona confirmed she would not be featured in the upcoming series.

“I do not want to do the show any longer,” she said. “It’s not for me at this time.”

Weeks prior, during an appearance on the Reality with the King podcast, Ramona questioned the potential success of RHONY: Legacy.

“I’ve been there a long time,” Ramona noted. “But I also feel like the ‘Legacy’ [show], how could it be really good? The people they are gonna bring back are the people they didn’t want to renew anyways.”

“So now what? Are you gonna call it ‘The Loser Show,’ the ‘Loser Legacy’?” she wondered.
