Adidas has decided not to release additional leftover Yeezy stock through the remainder of this year.

According to an internal Adidas memo, the initial November release has been put on hold.

“As a brand, we will not do a new drop for the remainder of the year both for our internal e-com and retail as well as wholesale,” Adidas wrote.  “We will not be shipping out any new stock, this direction was given at the board level.”

The postponed release was expected to feature the “Bone,” “Onyx,” and “Zebra” color variations of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2, along with Adidas’ Yeezy 500 and 700 models.

Two retailers suspect that Adidas delayed the Yeezy release to avoid potential backlash, especially considering the current political climate and the artist’s history of antisemitic comments.
