Failed comedian, right-wing grifter, failed boyband idol, and accused rapist Russell Brand recently uploaded a video addressing the recent sexual assault allegations against him, describing them as “extraordinary and distressing.” He also claimed that the government is trying to censor him.
Brand expressed gratitude to his cult fans for “questioning the presented information”.
Four women have accused him in a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times, and Channel 4’s Dispatches, all of which he denies.
Brand announced he would continue with his regular show on Rumble, a platform that hasn’t followed YouTube’s lead in demonetising his content.
He also mentioned the Trusted News Initiative, a consortium of media entities addressing misinformation. He described it as a “joint effort of major tech and traditional media to monitor and suppress independent outlets like ours.”
While not directly confronting the allegations against him, Brand vowed to continue discussions on “deep state and corporate ties,” the influence of “big pharma” on government, and media integrity and censorship.
