So it’s been a quite the 12 months for CM Punk and that all ended about a week ago when this was tweeted out by AEW:

Sooooo what did Punk do this time?

Well he got into a fight. Again. This time in front of the boss himself. Allegedly.


So wrestler Jack Perry, son of late Luke Perry, had a disagreement with Punk over a spot that occured on their Saturday show, Collision. Apparently, Perry wanted to use real glass for a backstage segment but Punk stepped in and told him not to use real glass and if he wanted to- to go to Dynamaite (their Wednesday show)

Then at their All In show in Wembley Stadium – Perry says this to the camera:

CM Punk, who has a fuse as long as gnat, confronts Perry, getting nose to nose and asked him if he’s got a problem with him. Perry responds that he was just looking to get heat as he’s a new heel.
Punk shoves him, Perry gets in his face, Punk ALLEGEDLY punches him and goes in for a choke. People surreounded and broke up the fight but once they were separeted, Punk tries to lunge at ownder Tony Kahn and yells “I Quit!”

Come the following Saturday and Tony Khan opens Collision, Punk’s show – in Chicago no less, with this:

Hall of Famer Edge’s contract is/soon is done and during an AEW scrum, Christian Cage was asked about Edge possibly joining him in AEW. Christian responds: I only talk about myself, and Luchasauraus.

Apparently Punk was open to return to WWE last year but that went nowhere. I don’t believe it tbh
