’90 Day Fiance’: Are Brandan and Mary Still Together?

90 Day Fiancé star Brandan De Nucciõ might be head over heels for girlfriend Mary De Nucciõ (née Rosa), but insecurities are set to threaten the couple as they start build their lives together. Throughout the spinoff, fans will watch their relationship unfold as Brandan headed to the Philippines to start a new life with Mary.

How Did 90 Day Fiance’s Brandan and Mary Meet?

Brandan has been dating Mary virtually for over two years and plans to visit his online girlfriend for the first time in her native the Philippines.

“Mary wants to know what I’m doing. She’s very clingy,” Brandan explained during his season 5 debut of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, in a teaser shared by the network in July 2023. “I really like that because I’m kind of the same way. We have similar past histories.”

The TLC personality revealed both of them had been cheated on in the past by their romantic partners, contributing to their shared jealousy and insecurity issues.

It’s clear Brandan’s family has issues with their relationship, however, as Mary has forbidden Brandan from visiting his mother’s house due to her female roommates.

“Mary doesn’t want me over there with any of them,” Brandan told producers. “I feel like I’m being pulled from my siblings and my mom from one side, and pulled from Mary on the other. I don’t like that. I wish they got along.”

While Brandan assured his mom and sister that things would change once they were in person together, his mom wasn’t so convinced.

“You guys have built a foundation on jealousy and distrust, it’s pretty rocky,” his mom, Angela Stiggins, told him in another scene. “You can’t see me ‘cause I live in a house full of females, you can’t spend time with your siblings because she is a female and she has friends possibly, that might come over.”

What Challenges Have Brandan and Mary Faced on ’90 Day Fiance’?

Brandan arrived in the Philippines to meet Mary for the first time in the July 24 episode. They shared a kiss despite Mary’s grandfather’s strict rules that Brandan ask him for permission before having physical contact with Mary. This came back to bite Brandan in the August 2 episode when he admitted what he had done to Mary’s grandfather. He was angry that Brandan broke the rules, and though he ultimately gave the couple permission to kiss, he said they needed to start planning a wedding.

Brandan and Mary have also experienced some awkwardness over Mary’s hesitation to be intimate. While Brandan wanted to have sex on their first night together, Mary admitted she didn’t feel ready. Brandan didn’t want to pressure her, but Mary also chose not to tell him that her grandparents wanted them to wait until marriage.

“I know we were having a lot of intimacy on the phone. But it’s different that he’s here now in person, and it’s a big deal to me,” Mary said in the July 31 episode. “Just today, it’s my first time [having] me and Brandan in the same bed, first time kissing Brandan, all our first times.”

Perhaps the biggest challenge in Brandan and Mary’s relationship is their trust issues. Mary has admitted to feeling jealous many times when Brandan was around other women. Additionally, during the August 5 episode, Brandan met Mary’s friends, who are all men, and admitted he felt jealous of them. Her friends told Brandan that Mary unplugged her Wi-Fi and turned off her phone to hang out with them without Brandan knowing, which made Brandan upset and led to an argument. However, Mary apologized, and the two were able to work it out. Brandan then said that he and Mary could hang out with her friends as a group in the future.

The couple ran into another issue after Mary decided she wanted to bring Brandan to church and hoped he would convert to Catholicism. While religion was not important to Brandan, Mary said it was important if he wanted to marry her.

During the church service, Mary urged Brandan to only look at the priest and at none of the girls in the building.

“I’m just like not understanding what’s going on and I’m trying to fill in the boredness, but if I even turn my head, she doesn’t like it,” Brandan explained during the August 21 episode. “Here we are again, with Mary getting insecure and jealous even though we talked a lot about how that won’t happen anymore.”

After attending mass, Brandan confronted Mary about her jealousy issues. “It’s about you trust me, not having this lack of faith in each other,” the U.S. native told his girlfriend. “I spent almost two-and-a-half years talking to you on the phone, never leaving you for anyone else, and then finally coming here in person. You still feel that I’m the kind of guy that would leave you?”

Are 90 Day Fiance’s Brandan and Mary Still Together?

While Brandan and Mary don’t have their family’s support when it comes to the relationship, In Touch exclusively confirmed in July 2023 that the pair got married

Brandan’s mom shared several of the 90 Day Fiancé alum’s photos of the couple’s wedding reception via social media on April 28. In the snaps, the Philippines native wore a white wedding gown and tiara, while her long distance love wore a plum-colored tuxedo. It was mentioned in the comments that TLC cameras were present for the ceremony, so fans may seemingly get to watch the wedding play out on a future episode of the spinoff.

“I made it home!! It’s bittersweet. I miss my son and his family in the Philippines already but glad to be back in my own bed. This trip has put a lot of things into perspective for me and I’m ready to really start living life to the fullest,” Angela captioned her post.

Fans will have to tune in to season 5 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way on TLC and Discovery+ on Monday at 8 p.m. ET to watch how their love story plays out.
