Positano is a beautiful seaside town located on the Amalfi Coast in southern Italy. It is known worldwide for its stunning views of the Mediterranean sea and the vibrant buildings lined up by the cliffs. It is easy to get from Rome to Positano.

You can reach Positano from Rome by bus, flight, shuttle minivan, private transfer, tour, car, train and minibus. The road distance between Rome and Positano is 273.2 kilometres or 169.75 miles while the direct distance is 218.56 kilometres or 135.81 miles. It takes about 3 hours and 50 minutes to travel this distance by car.

You can easily catch a bus from Rome and go to Positano. Infobus and Itabus are two transport companies that travel from Rome to Positano by bus.

Infobus departs from Rome Tiburtina, Largo Mazzoni Guido 3 and arrives at one of the following stops:

• Meta Corso Italia, Corso Italia 190
• Vico Equense, Corso Filangieri, 38

Itabus, on the other hand, departs from Roma, Autostazione Tiburtina and arrives at Salerno, Piazza della Concordia in Positano. The buses of Itabus are air conditioned, equipped with power plugs and have food options available.
