Gator caught crossing runway at RSW

LEE COUNTY, Fla. – Why did the gator cross the runway? Apparently he was late for a flight!

A pilot at Southwest Florida International Airport captured the alligator as it chugged along the tarmac after their plane had landed.

The gator was crossing across one of the taxiways and not the active runway where planes take off and land at full speed. It’s suspected that he was just making his way from one canal to another and did not cause any delays.
