Shonda Rhimes’ latest into the Bridgerton universe, its prequel ‘Queen Charlotte’, debuted on Netflix last Thursday and already wracked up 148.28 million hours viewed worldwide in its first few days. According to some article way back, Netflix charts successes if they break more than 100m hours its first week (and also guarantees a second season/sequel) if that’s the case.
Rhimes mentioned that the one-off season was close-ended and doesn’t anticipate a second season, but who knows.
“Sweet Tooth” Season 2 followed closely behind at No. 2 with 60.47 million hours viewed.
