Police Offering $20,000 Reward To Help Solve Richard Jefferson’s Dad Homicide Case [Video] – Baller Alert

A hefty reward amount has been extended to solve a former NBA player’s father’s homicide.

Los Angeles Police Department is offering $20,000 to help find out what happened to former basketball player Richard Jefferson’s father.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Dept. Lt. Patricia Thomas said they’re offering $20,000 to anyone that can help in this four-year-old case.

Thomas also said that she believes some people saw the suspects and Richard Jefferson Sr. in Compton in September 2018.

According to the press conference, she alleges that a car of gang members fired shots at Jefferson Sr. while he was talking with neighbors, assuming he was part of a rival gang.

Jefferson Sr.’s brother,  Kenneth, begged the public for details at the conference and said, “He was a brother. He was a son. He was a father. He was a grandfather who was very much loved.”

Thomas urged anyone with information to call the homicide bureau at 323-890-5500.
