-Paramount+ has decided to cancel Star Trek: Discovery after its upcoming 5th season.
-Due to the season being completed and not planned as the last season they are allowing them to film additional content to give the show a proper ending.
-With these changes they’ve decided to push back the season an entire year even though they had already released a trailer for said season.
-The show had a bumpy beginning with Bryan Fuller leaving early into production over creative differences.
-The show originally was supposed to be a companion to the OG series set in the same time before the crew got sent off to the far future.
