Rat infestation in Cape Coral home causes damages to car

[ad_1]

One Cape Coral woman is set on a warpath to get rid of the rodents that are intruding on her property.

Genelle Bennett first heard scratching noises coming from her attic but then saw the physical evidence.

Bennett’s car started showing her warning signs that something was wrong with her vehicle. She took her car to get checked.

“So they called me and said, it appears to be rodent damage, there were wires that were chewed in your vehicle,” said Bennett. She then had to pay over $1,000 for car repairs and another $432 for Tony’s Pest Control.

Tony’s Pest Control has set up bait traps around Bennett’s house, including the attic, to catch the rodents. But Bennett has another plan of attack to catch the uninvited guests.

“I want to put up a camera. I’m really thinking about putting up a camera,” said Bennett.
