Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero” holds at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, logging an eighth total week on top, surpassing the seven weeks at the summit for “Blank Space” in 2014-15.
SZA’s “Kill Bill” bumps to No. 2 on the Hot 100, a new career-high rank for the singer-songwriter.
It was expected “Kill Bill” would dethrone “Anti-Hero” but Taylor’s radio audience impression and last minute digital purchase discount (69¢) gave it the bump it needed to secure the top spot.
That may have been the best shot for SZA to log a #1 for the foreseeable future as Miley’s ‘Flowers’ is making a strong challenge to the #1 spot next week.
