Smart Communications, Inc. is making its Smart Home WiFi Postpaid service more accessible by expanding its availability to more than 100 Smart Stores across the Philippines, allowing more households to sign up for fixed wireless home internet without requiring fiber connections or complicated installations.
The expanded retail availability covers Smart Stores in North Luzon, Central Luzon, South Luzon, the National Capital Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao. Smart said the rollout now serves more than 1.3 million households across 3,200 barangays, enabling customers to check coverage, apply for a plan, and take home a plug-and-play modem on the same day.
According to Marjorie Garrovillo, first vice president and co-officer-in-charge of Smart, the expansion is part of the company’s goal of making reliable connectivity more accessible to Filipinos.

Two plans for different household needs
Smart Home WiFi Postpaid is designed for young families, work-from-home professionals, and students, with two plans that cater to different usage requirements.
Home Plan 1499 includes unlimited 5G data and a free plug-and-play modem capable of supporting multiple connected devices.
Meanwhile, Home Plan 999 comes with 200GB of 5G data, a daily 2GB bonus allocation, and a data rollover feature that allows unused data from the main allocation to be carried over. The plan requires a one-time modem fee of PHP995.
Both plans come with a 24-month lock-in period and include access to Smart Perks and GigaPoints rewards. Subscribers can also purchase additional data packages through the Smart App or Smart Online Store to match their usage needs.
Customers can verify service availability by checking for a 5G signal on their Smart mobile device and using the barangay-based coverage checker on the Smart Home WiFi Postpaid website.
