DC police investigating three Saturday homicides

DC police are investigating three separate homicides from Saturday, with victims found at C Street SE, Newton Place NW, and 14th Place SE.

WASHINGTON — DC police are investigating a three separate homicides that occurred on Saturday – two in Southeast, one in Northwest.

Around 2:56 p.m., police responded to the 1900 block of C Street, SE after a shooting was reported. When they arrived, police found a 17-year-old  male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Then, around 6:52 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Newton Place, NW for a reported shooting. A teenage male was found inside the residence with gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A couple of hours later, police were called to the 1400 block of 14th Place, SE where they located a female who’d been shot multiple times. Emergency personnel administered life-saving measures, but she was pronounced at the scene.

Police have not identified any of the victims, now have they said whether any of the incidents are connected. In each case, police said they were unable to discover any usable information about suspects.
