In a ceremony before his performance, he was presented with the Key to the City by National Criminal Justice Advocate Donte West, who delivered the honor on behalf of Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas.

The city’s proclamation recognized YoungBoy not only for his music but also for his community outreach. Specifically, it noted how he used his presidential pardon from Donald Trump to elevate “Stop The Violence” campaigns and support underserved communities.
