Amex Platinum Card Revamp
American Express will launched the revamped Platinum Card and Business Platinum Card on September 18, 2025, with an increased annual fee of $895. While we already revealed all the details of the Business Platinum card, we now have some leaked details for the consumer Platinum Card as well.
The leak confirms the $895 annual fee, the $600 FHR credit and the $400 Resy credit. Let’s check out the full details.
Annual Fee
- $895 annual fee for primary cardholders
- $195 for additional Platinum cards
- No fee for Companion cards
Earning Rates
- 5x on flights and prepaid hotels booked through AmexTravel.com
- 1X point on all other purchases.

Benefits
These are the benefits that seem to have been confirmed so far with the latest leak:
- NEW $600 annual hotel credit ($300 semi annual credit for Fine Hotels & Resorts/The Hotel Collection)
- NEW $400 resy Credit ($100 per month)
- NEW $120 Uber One credit ($10 per month)
- $200 in annual Uber savings ($15 in Uber Cash for U.S. rides every month plus a bonus $20 in December)
- Global Lounge Access
However, this is just an image of featured benefits, which means that it doesn’t include the full list. I would suspect that these benefits are still included:
We might even see something new like the Leaders Club Sterling status and more credits for reaching a certain spending threshold like the Business Platinum card. There should also be a Lululemon credit of $300 which has been leaked earlier.
Guru’s Wrap-up
We now have some confirmation about the new benefits on the consumer Platinum Card. We know that the annual fee is jumping to $895 and the card will have a $600 FHR credit and a $400 Resy credit.
I would think that the Lululemon credit will be there also, as well as a bunch of other existing credits and benefits.
Are you canceling or keeping your cards? Planning to apply/upgrade now or later? Let me know what you think!
