Cardi B recently opened up about her ongoing journey with cosmetic surgery, sharing that she had another round of butt injections removed earlier this year. The rapper, known for her candidness, revealed the details during an Instagram Live session on Sept. 29.

“In January, right after I shot the ‘Like What’ video, I had surgery again,” Cardi, 31, explained. “I got more butt injections removed. It takes multiple rounds to fully remove them, and I also went to address fibrosis.”
Cardi’s original injections were biopolymers, a liquid silicone gel that can cause serious health issues, including fibrosis. The rapper first began the removal process two years ago and has been vocal about the dangers of such procedures.

While discussing the surgery, Cardi revealed she was shocked to find out she was pregnant with her third child, whom she recently welcomed with estranged husband Offset. Despite undergoing surgery without knowing she was expecting, Cardi shared that her baby girl was born perfectly healthy.
She noted that even though she had taken two blood tests before the operation, her pregnancy went undetected. Thankfully, the birth went smoothly, and Cardi expressed her relief.

Cardi has a history of being open about her cosmetic procedures, including breast implants, rhinoplasty, and liposuction. In 2022, she disclosed that she had removed 95% of the butt injections she received back in 2014 in a basement, cautioning her fans about the risks of body modifications.
“If you’re young, don’t rush into getting a** shots,” she warned. “Trust me, it’s not worth it.”

Cardi emphasized the importance of honesty about her surgeries, stating, “When people see someone who’s had lipo, they think you just go in and come out looking amazing, but the recovery is a long process. It takes more than three or four months.”
