2024 Fall festivals, events to attend in Northeast Ohio

(WJW) — Is there a better way to celebrate the autumn season than a fall festival? Here at Fox 8 News, we don’t think so!
That is why we put together a list of fun festivals and events to head to this fall in Northeast Ohio. Check it out:
AKRON
Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens Ohio Mart
The Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens Ohio Mart will take place for the 57th time October 3-6. It will be open from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Ohio Mart showcases a record number of more than 140 exhibitors with a variety of media, including sculpture, garden art, paintings, clothing, woodwork, pottery, home décor and jewelry.
Tickets to Ohio Mart are $19 for adults, $10 for youth, ages 3-17.
ASHLAND
Honey Haven Fall Festival in Ashland
The Honey Haven Fall Festival in Ashland will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from September 28 through October 27. A maze, a barnyard zoo and a weekly craft show are just some of the activities guests can enjoy.

BARBERTON
Barberton Mum Festival
The Barberton Mum Festival is being held at Lake Anna Park and features over 17,000 chrysanthemums. The festival will be a weekend of free entertainment, crafts, flowers and more on Sept. 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
BRUNSWICK
Apple Cider Donut Eating Championship
From the Apple Cider Donut Eating Championship to the Pumpkin Village and Johnny Appleseed Festival, Mapleside Farms in Brunswick has something for everyone to enjoy throughout the fall season. Fall festivals began September 14 and go through October 27.

CHESTERLAND
Apple picking at Patterson Fruit Farm
Apple picking is now underway at Patterson Fruit Farm in Chesterland! The Patterson Fruit Farm Family Fun Fest will also be open through October 27. Admission is $7 Monday through Thursday. Friday through Sunday admission is $11. Children 2 and under are free and seniors are $7 every day.

CLEVELAND
Trick-or-Treat Fest
Trick-or-Treat Fest presented by Citizens at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has meet-and-greets with costumed characters, 20 trick-or-treat stations a Monster Mash Dance Party. Click here to get tickets.
West Clinton Historic Haunts Walking Tours
The West Clinton Historic Haunts Walking Tours will take place on October 3, 4, and 5. It’s a family-friendly interactive walking tour held in the residential areas surrounding the Gordon Square Arts District that blends Cleveland’s rich history with spine-tingling urban legends. Tickets are $12 for those who are 10 and up and $5 for ages 2-9.

Cleveland Beer Week
Cleveland Beer Week returns for Its 16th year on October 4 – 13. Attendees can sample their favorite beers alongside new brews and specialty releases. Special events include:
- October 4: Pumking Poker Run
- October 4: Neighborhood Crawl — Kamms Corner
- October 9: Off Shore Pour
- October 11: Neighborhood Crawl — Cleveland Heights
- October 12: Barrel Aged Bash 4.0

Spooky Tower
Tower City Center is welcoming Clevlanders of all ages to celebrate Halloween this October! New this year, Spooky Tower will offer guests a world of “ghosts, ghouls and games” every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 5-27.
Spooky Autumn Fest
Tower City Center is also hosting the Spooky Autumn Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26 from noon to 6 p.m. Guests are welcome to come in their best costumes for a day of games and activities. There will be an inflatable corn maze, bounce house, games, crafts, pumpkin bowling and Spooky Autumn Stage Shows taking place every hour on the stage in Skylight Park
At 4 p.m. there will be a costume parade of all attendees with characters, stilt walkers and more on Level 1 of Skylight Park.
COLUMBIA STATION
Old West Pumpkin Fest
The Old West Pumpkin Fest will be held at the Rockin’-R-Ranch in Columbia Station every weekend starting on September 28 through November 3. General admission is $15.

CORTLAND
Cortland Trunk or Treat Wildlife Show
Cortland Trunk or Treat Wildlife Show at Mosquito Lake State Park will take place on Saturday, October 26 from 6 to 7 p.m. The educational live animal show will teach event goers about the natural world and is fun for all ages.
ELYRIA
Elyria Fall Festival
The Elyria Fall Festival will take place at Pioneer Plaza on Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. There will be a costume contest, free pony rides, fall vendors, apple cider and more.
KENT
Dussel Farm pumpkin patch/festival
Dussel Farm offers a pumpkin patch and festival, corn maze, food and fun throughout the fall season in Kent.

KIRTLAND
Halloween Drive-Thru
The Halloween Drive-thru returns to the Lake Metroparks Farmpark October 11–13, 18–20 & 25–27 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event offers family-friendly thrills, chills and adventure from the comfort of your own vehicles. Tickets cost $27.50 per carload and must be purchased in advance. Click here to get yours now.

Corn & Pumpkin Weekend
The Corn & Pumpkin Weekend at Lake Metroparks Farmpark takes place October 5 and 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be fall foods and drinks, a corn maze, harvest demonstrations, corn husk crafts, pumpkin painting and more. Admission is $7– $9. Farmpark members, children younger than two and active military and their families receive free admission.

LOUDONVILLE
Oktoberfest
Oktoberfest in Mohican takes place on Sept. 28 from noon – 10 p.m. Guests can expect food, raffles, beer, wine, games and entertainment. Tickets cost $10 for those 21 and older and free busing will be offered for guests staying at certain locations in the area.

LUCAS
Ohio Heritage Days Festival
The 47th Annual Ohio Heritage Days Festival at Malabar Farm State Park will take place on September 28 and 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This festival is one of Ohio’s largest free outdoor craft and living-history events.
Visitors will find woodworking, weaving, blacksmithing and quilt-making demonstrations. There will also be displays of the Civil War and WWII camps near the iconic Big House.
MEDINA
Medina Fall Festival
The Medina Fall Festival will take place on Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Medina’s Public Square. There will be a maze, apple art, a petting zoo, a puppy parade and many more events and activities.
NEW PHILADELPHIA
Fall Lantern Tours
Fall Lantern Tours at the Ohio History Connection’s Schoenbrunn Village will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 27 and 28.
Guests will get to follow a lantern-lighted path and discover what life was like in the 18th-century Moravian community. Activities include a conversation about maple sugaring, writing with quills and ink, learning about candle making and sampling some tasty treats. Click here to get your tickets now.
NORTH CANTON
New Berlin Festival
The New Berlin Festival will take place in North Canton on Sept. 28 to pay homage to the city’s previous name and traditions.
PARIS
Arrowhead Orchard
Arrowhead Orchard has apple orchards, sunflower picking, hayrides and a pumpkin patch. In true fall fashion and orchard style, they even have an apple cannon! The Arrowhead Orchard Fall Festival takes place through October 28 in Paris.

RITTMAN
Bauman Orchards Fall Festival
The Bauman Orchards Fall Festival in Rittman takes place on September 28 and October 5. Here you can pick your own apples, have homemade cider donuts, go to the petting zoo and do a corn maze. There are plenty of activities and food trucks each day of the festival as well.

SOLON
Solon Fall Festival
The 2024 Solon Fall Festival will be held on October 5 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Solon Community Park. The event is perfect for a family day of fun with a variety of local artisans, crafters, delicious eats, food trucks and other vendors.
SUGARCREEK
Ohio Swiss Festival
The Ohio Swiss Festival takes place Sept. 28-30 and will have music, food, entertainment and more every day.
WOOSTER
Woosterfes
The Woosterfest takes place every year in downtown Wooster to celebrate the season with music, food, drinks, wiener dog races and more. This year, the festival takes place from noon – 11 p.m. Sept. 27 and 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. Sept. 28.
