Tony Katz Visits Springfield Ohio To Address The REAL Problem Happening There

Tony Katz recently visited Springfield, Ohio, to explore the situation surrounding rumors about Haitian migrants eating cats.

Knowing Tony he had to visit to get the real story that is happening on the grounds of Springfield.

From Tony Katz – What’s happening on the ground in Springfield, Ohio is actually something quite fascinating where the residents of Springfield truly feel that they’re not being represented.

They’re not being represented in the media stories about them and they feel that they’re being called racists and bigots for somehow noticing that there’s been an influx of Haitian refugees but they’re not angry with Haitian refugees in the slightest.

Rather they’re very upset with the federal government for allowing these programs and for state and local government for not being transparent about what’s actually happening here.

Much of the conversation has been about who’s eating what. They’ll tell you is that geese seem to be missing – dogs and cats absolutely not.

They will also be clear that they don’t like the way their city is being treated like they’re the butt of a joke. They’re not a joke.

They are enduring a serious problem in Springfield, Ohio like many Midwest cities are dealing with.

You’re dealing with crime that’s on an upswing, drug use that’s on an upswing, and when they talk about the Haitian migrants that have been brought here which is 20,000 in three years they’re discussing an overwhelming of a system. Not that so much Haitians have brought more crime and more drugs. Although they will say that both those things are up.

They’re saying that the issue has existed for years as we have seen this issue grow in Midwest cities all across America and allowing this many people to join in to the community here in Springfield, Ohio without being able to have a plan or not being able to have resources without any plan whatsoever has dominated the city and caused them tremendous issue. That’s what has Springfield residents so frustrated.
