‘Special announcement’ at Cleveland Browns Stadium

CLEVELAND (WJW) – The Haslam Sports Group says it has a special announcement planned for Tuesday.

According to a press release, the Cleveland Browns and the Haslam Sports Group will host a press conference Tuesday at Cleveland Browns Stadium at 11 a.m.

The FOX 8 I-Team has been reporting extensively on the negotiations surrounding the future home of the Browns, as the Haslam Sports Group has been looking at a new location in Brook Park.

The I-Team has learned the announcement is not about the stadium decision.

The Browns kick off week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys at home on September 8.
