Keyshia Cole Drags Scrappy For Suggesting Her Relationship With Hunxho Is A Paid Gig

Keyshia Cole is dragging Scrappy after he suggested she might be getting paid to date rapper Hunxho.

Their rift began when Scrappy appeared alongside Khaotic on the Bag Fuel podcast to promote their new show, “Pick a Side.” During the chat, the topic of record labels paying popular artists to date new artists came up. Scrappy shared that he was once paid to align himself with a female artist to boost her career. 

“That’s Keyshia Cole and Hunxho,” Scrappy said before Khaotic chimed in, stating that Cole may have been the one to pay the Atlanta newcomer. 

When a fan slammed the notion that the “Love” singer would have to pay anyone to date her, she quoted the tweet and addressed Scrappy directly. 

“And what hurts the most is SCRAPPY SAYING THAT SHIT! Naw nicca u get paid to  (Fake a relationship) like U SAID…like what are they even talking about.  Tryna get clicks. Hopefully this helps,” Cole wrote. 

Cole then responded to another fan who asked why the singer was upset by Scrappy’s comments. She explained that his mother, Momma Dee, and her mom, the late Frankie Lons, were once friends. Cole and Scrappy had also been cool with one another, which is why his comments came as a shocker. 

“It’s always been love, but for him to allow such craziness.. is beyond me. People be weird,” the 42-year-old wrote. 

 

Scrappy nor Khaotic have responded to Cole’s Twitter remarks.
