Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Karan Johar’s directorial debut, turns 25 today. On Sunday night, the filmmaker and stars Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji attended a special screening of the movie in Mumbai. Shah Rukh discussed the significance of the movie in their life at the time. The actor’s objections to performing a love story and his statement that he now leaves those for “Jawan bachche” (young people) were the event’s high points.

Shah Rukh stated while speaking at the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai film screening:“Is film ka humare liye bahut hi important makaam hai humari zindagi mein, humare dilo mein. Aap log thoda bahut samajhte ho, pura nahi samjhoge kyunki kuch kuch hota hai.” When discussing his forthcoming plan, he added, “Ab pata nahi love story karu ya nahi karu, ab Jawan bachcho ko karne do.” The audience reacted to Shah Rukh’s statement with a loud roar.

Rani Mukerji wore a white saree with a black blouse, while Shah Rukh was dressed in a black T-shirt, a pair of grey-patterned jeans, and a black jacket. The video received a lot of heart and laughing emojis in the comments section.
