Please talk to your vet. Shampoos specifically made for dogs should be the shampoo you use on your dog. Human skin has a normal pH balance of 5.5-5.6, which is on the acidic side. Dogs, on the other hand, have a normal pH balance of 6.2-7.4, which is more neutral. Using a human shampoo on dogs disrupts the acid mantle, leaving your dog vulnerable to parasites, viruses, and bacteria.

None look to their diet , remove chicken based foods & eliminate the cause. Rotties aren’t a breed that needs regular washing. Potentially an allergy, could try antihistamines see if they help xx

I used Burt’s Bees oatmeal shampoo for dogs and every third or so bath put vitamin E mixed with apple cider vinegar in a spray bottle and give a few sprits on the most itchy spots

My dog used to have really bad itchy skin tried everything till a dermatologist said let them roll around in a wet clay and mud bath let it dry and rinse with Luke warm water twice a week and within a month it had cleared up if you have any spar treatment places near you that specialises in mud and clay treatments see if they will sell you a couple of buckets and do it in your backyard
