An 18-year-old man is hospitalized after police said he was shot while walking with a friend in Philadelphia’s Rhawnhurst neighborhood.
According to police, the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, on Chandler Street near Frontneac.
Police said the man and his friend were approached by three armed suspects who opened fire.
The 18-year-old man is expected to be okay after being shot twice in the stomach, according to police. The man’s friend was not hurt.
Police said the suspects fled in a white SUV.
At this time, police said no arrests have been made.
