MULTNOMAH COUNTY, Ore. — Detectives with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Wood Village man accused of committing more than 140 child sex crimes.
Investigators say a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led them to a home near Northeast Pike Street and Kokanee Lane. Detectives executed a search warrant Thursday and arrested 56-year-old Iosif Blashishen.
Blashishen is facing 142 charges, including first-degree rape, sodomy, sexual abuse, and dozens of counts involving the production and possession of child sexual abuse material.
The Sheriff’s Office says detectives believe there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Dylan Lerch or Detective Jonathan Zwick at the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
