Baltimore pop sensation Ashley Kutcher had just completed her nursing degree when her single “Love You from a Distance” became a streaming hit. Specializing in a blend of confessional songwriting and hook-driven electro-pop, the social media star had already developed a sizeable online fan base with early singles “Lust” and “Hands to Myself.” The arrival and explosive response to “Love You from a Distance” earned her a record deal with Interscope imprint Darkroom, which released her debut EP, One Eighty, in 2021.
Since then Kutcher has had numerous smash hits including ‘Sleepy’, and her current 2023 releases ‘I Can’t Swim’, ‘Boy From Carolina’ and now ‘Matchbox’. She’s easily one of my favorite artists, she’s incredibly talented, with her relatable songwriting, to her infectious melodies, Ashley Kutcher is a gift to music.
