A video of a woman tripping over her “drunk” boyfriend in the dark is going viral on TikTok, where it has been watched 3 million times in one day.

The clip, shared by TikTok user @jackyjasmine22, was overlaid with a message that read: “When you come in 30 seconds after your drunk [as f***] boyfriend.”

The video, which appears to have been filmed by a night-vision camera in a pitch-black living room, shows a man laying on a floor, seemingly passed out. Moments later, a woman walks into the room, along with a dog, and trips over the man, toppling forward onto the floor. It ends with the dog walking away and the man opening his eyes.

The clip was shared with a crying-with-laughter emoji and a #LOL hashtag. However, health authorities have warned about the dangers of passing out after drinking too much.

The man in this video wakes after his girlfriend takes a tumble, but an inability to wake after binge-drinking is one of the signs of alcohol poisoning, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

“Very high levels of alcohol in the body can shut down critical areas of the brain that control breathing, heart rate and body temperature, resulting in death,” said the CDC.

In the U.S., six people a day die from alcohol poisoning on average, according to a 2015 report from the agency. The CDC said other signs of alcohol poisoning were vomiting, slow breathing, irregular breathing, seizures and hypothermia.

Fortunately, none of these signs were on display in the viral video, which had TikTokers in stitches at the woman’s tumble. Many commenters joked that the couple’s German shepherd would have disapproved of their antics.

Meg wrote: “the dog is like what is wrong with my humans.”

Marie-France Le Clai said: “Lol I feel like the dog tried to warn you!!”

Lisakatetucker posted: “Poor dog was like not again mam and dad lol.”

User rashawdegrant5 posted: “She just dropped instantly.”

Mario..Lucas was more surprised by the boyfriend’s reaction: “He didn’t even move.”

The original poster has also posted a slow-motion version, which prompted one TikToker to comment: “The dog was so confused, ‘oh no my humans, they’re broken.'”

Newsweek has contacted the original poster for comment. The video has not been independently verified.
