Nearly 10,000 power outages were reported in Arizona Wednesday as a winter storm passed through the state, one of many places in the U.S. dealing with winter weather this week.

The highest concentration of outages was in the northern part of the state, where 6,000 homes and businesses in Coconino County were without power, representing more than 24% of the county’s electric customers, according to USA TODAY Network’s power outage database.

The county is home to Flagstaff, which remained under a winter storm warning Wednesday.

In Maricopa County, home of Phoenix, over 1,000 outages were reported, a fraction of the county’s 1.86 million power customers.
