Willa Ford making a glorious return to the world of pop music was not on our bingo card for 2026, but we are truly delighted that the US star is back with a brand new full-length album. Titled amanda, the LP arrives on 6 March and includes the recently released single Love4Life.
Willa shares: “‘Love4Life’ is a song about finding someone who understands and acknowledges your worth. Someone who knows how to do hard things without giving up on love. We all deserve someone who is a person of their word. We should be the same in return and never settle for anything less.” On Love4Life, Willa co-writes and produces alongside Gustav Erik Goran Afsahi and Jonathan Bluth.
Willa first found success with her 2001 album Willa Was Here, which featured pop anthems including I Wanna Be Bad and Tired. Her return to pop was something of an unplanned event. “This album was never supposed to happen,” Willa says. “In fact, I never thought I would return to music. Somehow, through my trials, music found me and healed me when I didn’t even know I was in need of healing. My hope is that if my music can bring love and healing to others, then I’ll have done my job.”
Willa has also released the previous single Burn Burn, which once again sees her navigating elegant electropop, a sound that suits her perfectly. See the full tracklist below.
