WestJet Increases Summer 2023 Schedule

Canadian carrier WestJet has made “significant increases” to its summer 2023 schedule, with additional flight frequencies across domestic and U.S. routes, the carrier announced Monday.

The carrier’s Edmonton-Las Vegas route will operate 11 times weekly versus the four times it flew last year. Edmonton-Los Angeles will operate seven times weekly, up from four a year prior. Calgary-Denver will double to four times weekly, and Calgary-New York JFK will increase to seven times weekly from four last summer. 

A sampling of the domestic route increases include Vancouver-Ottawa at 11 times weekly versus five last summer; Calgary-London, Ont., at double last year’s frequency to 14 times weekly; Calgary-Montreal up to 20 times weekly compared with 13 last summer; and Edmonton-Winnipeg more than tripled to 20 times weekly from six a year prior.
